• Wise Kwai gives us the English-subtitled trailer for Happiness Of Kati, adapted from the best-selling youth novel. There are also four posters of the movie. Wise Kwai says: "The youth novel has been translated into eight languages, including English. It is indeed heartwarming, and well worth a read."

• Variety Asia reports that three Asian directors - Fruit Chan, Cui Jian, and Hur Jin-ho - will helm an omnibus not unlike Paris, je t'aime and New York, I Love You, but set in earthquake-devastated Sichuan.

• In other news, Gong Li got snubbed by the China Film Association.

• Over at Twitch, Stefan reviews Ghajini, the "unofficial" Bollywood remake of Christopher Nolan's Memento.

• A Nutshell Review of Singapore announces the new Jack Neo production, Love Matters (formerly known as Republic Of Happiness), directed by Gilbert Chan. Slated for a Chinese New Year release. It's a Singapore-Malaysia co-production.
